    Dear Wiz fans,

These are just mock ups and there not inked to any media annoucement from the team or from the MLS.

This thread is just for fun and well poke fun at them also

So opiniate and decide whther these logos are worthy for the team to corporate or not.

    Enjoy!!:D

    Here are the logos

    1. the logo is more simpler and well has that more traditional to the shield
    2. Well, this one I did it simple:eek:
    3. Same Shield with the name but with the cities flag
    4. A more traditional and well used in any team sport
    5. Same shield but the letters tangled up more soccer traditional
    6. Same shield but with different style
    7. One of my favorites it has simple touch and has that look of a team well established.
    But you guys decide, Enjoy!!

    OK why not?

Lets see, #5 and 7 are contrived. Anything with FC in it probably will not fly, so #2 and 6 at least need to change that. #1 is, well, empty. #3, meh, lose the red and it looks okay. #4 is the best of a so-so lot. Something about that flag bugs me though. Also it's a flagrant rip-off Of Real Madrid. I frankly don't like the shape of the current logo in the first place anyway, so anything based off of that won't really work for me personally.

Me gustan 1 y 2. They seem to look like the most traditional ones.

figured I needed to expand. I don't like the current shield layout. It just doesn't look right, it's long and skinny. As for the two that aren't the old logo, I don't like the lettering on those. It just looks like nonsense.

4, 5, & 7 are a mess with your lettering. an absolute mess that is probably a surefire trigger for a migraine. the only one that has any decency is 6, but like kuhnscoot has said, that old shape is no good. there also should be no black on our crest and get rid of the fc. on a scale of 1 to 10, where nothing under 8 should be given any consideration, i'd give #6 a 3. all the others fall into the 0 to -5 range. happy holidays.

4 minus the flag is okay....

I like the fountain logo on number 3 but I don't really like the rest of the badge.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing us use just the letters from 4 or 5 for a secondary logo/word mark for hats.

For those guys that have trouble at the lettering logos go watch or look more closely to see the Euro team logos like Real MAdrid, Real Batis, CA Lanus, Vitoria FC, Fluminense RC, Flamengo RC and the famous Inter Milan logo.

I love the effort. But as a graphic designer, I have issues with the designs. Like, what's your concept? You can't just design any shield and say, "Here you go." It has to have meaning to that particular city and team. Some of the layouts are nice, but as a Kansas Citian, it means nothing to me. I'm not belittling your work, I'm just bringing up constructive criticisms since this is a very hot button issue in these parts.

i don't give a shit what their logos look like. it doesn't change the fact that the lettering looks like it was meant to be a maze for your eyes.

My concept of these logos are based in traditional look and historic pride. The reason that I made these intanglements of letters well is to give the logo more magical look and who knows to confuse the other team if they look at it.:D

But I stick to tradition and I dont make crap either

let me give you guys a test whose crest is this from what team? or spell out the letters and the teams official name?

After looking at all those team's logos, I still think it's a crap look, but I may have figured out why. 1) the white lettering of it throws the eyes off, especially with the black as the contrasting color, it really screws with the eyes (same goes for CA Lanus logo, I can't even tell where the letters are on it). 2) I think it could be just the letters that we have in our name that don't go well with that design. 3) The way you're trying to squeeze the letters in, is what also messes with it.

I love these off season creative threads. There is often no middle ground either some people like it, or it is "crap".

I quite like the round logo. The shade of blue I wish was a bit darker. perhaps lettering on the outer ring. I like the mix of the letters KCW is a bit hard to do. I absolutely love that there is no logo like a ball, on the logo/badge. The flag is just a bit too flamboyant.

Anybody else look at the tangle of "letters" and immediately think of the 3D Pipes screensaver for Windows?

i like the idea of the initials since both the Chiefs and Royals have distinct KC logos. but those celtic knots are too tangled for my taste. and the KCMO flag doesn't represent our entire Kansas City Metro area. WTF? KCWFC is lame. and where's the "element of yellow"? how bout #1 or #6 (minus the FC) in Wizards blue and white with a yellow border?
