Winter pause test/friendly matches?
Have there been any announcements or rumblings of any test matches for Werder during the winter pause? Where could one find this information? There is nothing mentioned on the Werder website, as far as I can find. I recall them playing a friendly match against FC Magdeburg last season (somewhat convenient for me), and I'd love to see them head over to my part of the country again.

Re: Winter pause test/friendly matches?
At 8th of January the team will flight to the training camp in Belek (Turkey)
and participate at the tournament at Antalya. Schalke will have their training camp there, too. So at the tournament there Werder will play against teams like Schalke or the big ones from Istanbul, like Fenerbahce or Galatasaray.
At January 19th Werder will participate at a tournament in Düsseldorf.
They ´ll have to play 2 matches, each one has a duration of 45 minutes.
Other participants are Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and host Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Re: Winter pause test/friendly matches?
On Friday, 21st of December, Bremen participates at an indoor tournament in Oldenburg. Teams like Hamburg, Schalke and Fenerbace will also take part. The tournament will be broadcasted on DSF - Deutsches Sport Fernsehen.
Transfer rumours:
- Sebastian Prödl(sturm graz)
- Goran slavkovski (inter milan)
- lukas podolski(bayern munich)
Jensen, Borowskis contracts running out. Have to extend both of them, especially Jensens, who plays fantastic at the moment.

It´s not the actual team, but an all-star team with players
like Jonny Otten, Dieter Burdenski, ... .
The other teams are also with legends of their clubs.

Re: Winter pause test/friendly matches?
Victoria-Cup in Belek/ Turkey:
10.01.2008 Werder Bremen - SC Freiburg
12.01.2008 Werder Bremen - Schalke 04
:-/ Don't like friendlies against german teams, especially not against strong Bundesliga teams like Schalke.

Re: Winter pause test/friendly matches?
2-1 loss against Scheisse 04.
But according to Thomas Schaaf Bremen played quite well.
Goals: Naldo(og), Rafinha(pen) and Andreasen

Yes, you could see some good scenes from both teams,
but also many mistakes, which is not unnormal for teams
at a training camp.
Next test tomorow against Saturn Ramenskoje from Russian PL.
