Post Uefa Champions League + Uefa Cup On Usa Tv

HI EVERYBODY.
I AM A BIG SOCCER FAN AND I AM STAYING IN LOS ANGELES,USA.
I AM ONLY ONE YEAR IN USA AND I HAVE FOUND MANY DIFFICULTIES WATCHING SOCCER ON TV.
IS IT POSSIBLE SOMEONE TO INFORM ME HOW MANY GAMES (FROM UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE) ESPN AND ESPN2 WILL SHOW THIS SEASON?
I REMEMBER LAST SEASON I COULD FIND ONLY A FEW GAMES ON THESE CHANNELS.
THE SAME PROBLEM I HAD WITH UEFA CUP.THERE WERE ONLY A FEW GAMES (ON FOX WORLD SPORTS INTERNATIONAL) PLUS A FEW ON PPV.
ANYWAY, I WILL APPRECIATE IT WHATEVER INFORMATION YOU CAN PROVIDE ME.
THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Welcome to BigSoccer, Fotis.

The schedule and TV rights haven't been announced yet. As far as I know it is still unclear if ESPN(2) will show one or two matches a week when the group stage begins or any at all.

For the UEFA Cup, I've only seen it on FSW. From what I heard they will most likely show the English clubs and maybe a few others and of course the final.

Does that us American-based Ipswich Town supporters will get to see them in action depending on their Performance against Avenir Beggen?

Last season ESPN International showed two or three matches per day (= up to 6 a week) ... but only VERY FEW places (bars) in the US show ESPN International, the regular cable/satellite customer is stuck with ESPN and ESPN2 - and they're inexplicably hostile to Champions League soccer, so far the schedule for August and September has no (= 0) Champions League advertised.

I hate ESPN.

Try 10. 8 on ESPN International and 2 on ESPN Dos.

Of course not, because ESPN International can't be broadcasted into the U.S. market. ESPN didn't have the right to broadcast Monday Nite Football and the NBA in the U.S., but did for the Latin American market.

They are hostile to CL soccer because the American public are hostile to CL soccer. ESPN is one of the very soccer friendly channels, IN PLACES THAT EMBRACE SOCCER!!! Look at the coverage they have on ESPN Latin America, ESPN PacRim and ESPN Asia.

So who's to blame here? ESPN or Americans? You have to blame your fellow Americans for not flocking to CL telecasts like they do to NFL telecasts. Get 10M households to watch the CL, I bet in a nanosecond that you'll get 8 CL matches on ESPN/ESPN2 per match day.

How can you say that? the link I provided above just tells you coverage started on September 17, matchday 1.

I've noticed ESPN doesn't necessarily have the complete list until near the game date, so if it doesn't show all the way to the final yet don't panic. They may wait until the draw to list the matches they'll show.
