To watch Eric in a stadium is something unique that I never expect to witness again. It was quite a sight to see and you saw it much better in the flesh than it ever came across on TV.

You couldn't take your eyes of him for one second, I'm not really the one player fan kind but with Eric it was different, your eyes were always drawn to him, his very presence demanded it!

People can say what they want about Ronaldo but King Eric was simply the greatest player I ever saw in the flesh, no one could ever own the stadium like he did. Me dad says Denis was much the same, think Paddy Crerand's quote applies to both of them:

"He didn't act like it was his ball, he carried on like it was his stadium"
