The funny thing is that we're probably going to see more of Sepahan.

That said, if we get past them again, what do you think of our chances against Milan?

Milan is having a terrible season in Italy, so far. They're also unlucky, and the ref did not help (according to the media, both Milan and Juve got robbed already of 4-5 points).
It is a team at the end of a generation, BUT, they do have Kaka, Pirlo, Gattuso...
IMO, there is still an abyss (2-3 goals?) between Italiana and Japanese teams, but in a single game played at home, you'll never know, right?
In any case, I am happy if my Italian friends could see the Urawa fans in action... I hope they won't boo Milan as they did with Man Utd last summer.

if Urawa manages to beat Sepahan once again ( which they should), they certainly have a decent chance of beating Milan as well at home...but of course, there is a quality gap between them, but things as fatigue, form, fitness, home support, jet-lag and how serious the 2 teams take the match also has to be taken into account. now,I just read that Maldini said WCC was Milan's chance of salvaging a poor season, so they should be up for it if that's correct.

Urawa should manage atleast a 3rd place finish in this tournament, but it would be absolutely fantastic to see them win as well ;)

Where in Italy are u from Gora? happen to be a Milan fan?

It's stupid and messed up that the AFC finalists should meet again.

Obviously the better of those teams has been decided.

They should put the OFC champ and Sepahan in a different slot where the CONCACAF champ is and swap them.

So Urawa can play the CONCACAF champ or CONMEBOL or someone.

Is it hard to get tickets for these games? Do these things sell out like weeks in advance?

We should talk only about Japan here...
Anyway, I HATE AC Milan, and I am very disilluded by Italian soccer as a whole. I follow the J-league, the EPL, Colchester United FC in the Championship and Le Mans in France.

Urawa beating Milan would be one of the better soccer-days of my life.

I think this is because FIFA made a stupid rule saying that only one club from a federation can be represented in the semifinals, thus the two team has to face each other in quarterfinals.

Those in the cheaper seats, especially for semis and final were sold out weeks before, two years ago.
I think you should be able to buy them online.
    Good luck.

Milan will arrive in Japan on December 6th. They are quite motivated:
PS: Feel free to stop by on the FIFA board to discuss the CWC.

Milan has lost 3 times (the last trhee, I believe) out of 5 in Tokyo, and the two times they won was against really minor, unknown teams.

It is also a team at the end of a cycle, and quite screwed up already in Serie A for the season.

Add that crosstown rivals Inter FC are doing quite well (by various means, one might add...), and it is clear that for AC Milan this tournament is VERY important.

Haha. When Leonardo played for Kashima, Urawa was one of the weakest teams in the J-League.

He is out for 6 months!!!!
Now Reds are in serious crisis.
    I can't believe it, but it's true.

Urawa still have to beat another team first, and I can tell you Sepahan are better than Ehime and Yokohama FC. They will also be looking for revenge if they do indeed play Urawa.

I read an article today about how Milan and Boca are doing quite horribly too. AC Milan is now already 15 points below Inter, seriously risking not to play the CL next season (they're eight).

You know, I really cant understand the FIFA way of thinking when it comes to selling tickets. I went to an official authorised ticket booth (here in Yokohama, Japan) 2 DAYS after the tickets for this tournament went on sale with the hope of getting a pair of tickets for the final. that was back in August. I was told "sorry, we have already sold out" as Tickets went on sale worldwide on the same day i wasn't too dispondent and took it on the chin. Then the tickets sales were stopped after 2 weeks...

....so imagine how pissed off i was, when tickets went back on sale last month and my wifes work colleagues bought some tickets for the Final!!!!

Is Urawa taking this tournament seriously? I would really like to see them win this :D

At least win the first game against Sepahan or Waitakere United so they can meet Milan, they show it on tv here.
