Wright to black cats ... ? ...
Even though Wright fought extra hard to get healthy for this season, it looks like Sunderland is where he's going to make a come back.
Too bad, I always enjoyed knowing we had Wright to come off the bench incase someone go's down in the back line. I think him missing the u-21 tournament really hurt his stock...never had a full chance to show what he can do on the big stage.

He recently signed a three deal. This one kind of baffles me. I thought he was destined for big things at Anfield.

I think the Anfield bass are just trying to empty some change from their pockets.... too bad as Wright had a great upside to his ability.
Probably one more player out and Houllier would be close to breaking even on the transfer market..which would probably lead us to brining in one more in a few months time...if needed of course.

Yeah, this is a shame. Bit like Barmby. Personally, I would have got shot of Xavier, who is, let's face it, pish. But then I do suppose you can only sell those players other clubs might want. Even Everton wouldn't have Abel back, I reckon. And that's some statement ...
