Great to see Cruz Azul return to the Bay Area. I'm hoping they choose SBC park instead of the Oakland coliseum.

What records do they take into account when figuring out what teams will participate? I was hoping my Santos would qualify.

The eight teams participating in InterLiga 2008 earned berths based on their combined record in the 2006 Apertura and 2007 Clausura seasons of the Mexican domestic league.

The Interliga is obviously just there for economic purposes... Anything to make money off games in the U.S.
