    First game is often tricky.
I would never complain when you get 3 points...

Sanga won 2-0 with one goal each from the Brazilian forwards.
I'll say more once I could actually watch the game...

Looks as we're headed toward an interesting season, down in J2...

    Re: 2007 J1 & J2 MatchDay 2 [R]

Sanga's Sunday was pretty bad... 0-0 against Bellmare at Home is not what we expected.

It's nice to have a clean sheet after 2 games, but considering the players in Sanga's roster (Paulinho, Andre, Morioka, Saito, etc...) I wonder if Minobe is a capable coach... between J1 and J2 he has managed to win only ONE game in nine...

...and Verdy really seems ready to rock.

Well, that's all for the discussion on this week's J2... :p

    Re: 2007 J1 & J2 MatchDay 3 [R]

Sanga managed another mediocre draw, this time at Yamagata.
I haven't seen the game; however, quite disappointing for for a team that has been dubbed J2's Sanga-lacticos.

Perhaps it would have been useful to remember that the Real Galacticos have won nothing in the last 4 seasons...

    Re: 2007 J2 MatchDay 4 [R]

Sanga should really get rid of its coach, Minobe.
In 11 games with the club, he managed to win only one, and while now Sendai and Tokyo are flying, his "Sanga-lacticos" managed only three draws against Shonan (H), Yamagata (A) and Tokushima (H). That's dropping SIX points...
It's a long league, but I already see the ghosts of 2004......

Well, this would at least end the elevator up-and-down for Sanga for one year, no?

Maybe slow and easy does it?

But those are indeed six points that Kyoto SHOULD have been picking up...with fuel left to spare.

The problem is not only the results: two years ago J2's Kyotow as a spectacular team, this season has been so far plain boring.

Cerezo and Sanga FC have been the two disappointments of the season so far... The game should be somehow an hard-fought contest... We'll see! :)

    It's OFFICIAL!

Cerezo Osaka, 3 minutes from a J-1 title in 2005, relegated in 2006,
and now 0-3 in J2 in 2007, with 1 goal scored and 6 allowed, under
new coach Tsunami, are utterly and without a single doubt

    CURSED!

Let's see what happens tomorrow at home against new derby rivals
    Kyoto. Feel the Hate!

Yeah the ref was stupid but Cerezo played a cynical game......they weren't interested in playing so much as grabbing and elbowing and slowing the game down to a stop.

They didn't deserve to win that game and they never threatened to score.

The ref was bad because he let them get away with things early while calling almost everything on Verdy and then did a 180 in the second half and didn't call anything on Verdy, Hulk should've been red carded but Cerezo were asking to get somebody sent off almost the whole game

The ref killed the flow of the whole game

Dear Goru, were you there? Honestly, Cerezo are still shite, we won by
accident, although we needed it more than you. But it was like divine deliverance, in fact behind the stadium a big fire broke out during the 1st
half, but somehow the fire dept put it out before it reached us.

The win, it was like rain in the afternoon on a dry summer day...

Kyoto plays Fukuoka today... If we don't beat them, we're talking about being 6th ot 7th after 6 games... Ridicolous, considering the potential of Sanga FC...

Sanga scratched a victory against Fukuoka in the last minutes.
From the 1st half netcast on the Avispa website, it seems as Fukuoka had the game in hand.
Good result, but I believe troubles are still there, and the goals come always from the same two Brazilian players...

    Watched Kyoto's game.

Boy, we won thanks to two presents from Fukuoka's goalie.

Still a lot of work to do for Rookie Minobe...
