Default Matchday 5: Borussia Dortmund vs. Werder Bremen

Anyone have any updates on the projected line-up for Friday? I'm guessing Frings and Borowski are still out, but what about Sanogo and Owomoyela?

Sanogo and Owomoyela came back to team training today! I think they will be ready for Dortmund! Fritz is still doubtful and as you said Boro and Frings definetly won't play.

Only injuries should keep you guys from victory. We won our last match in Rostock, but were very lucky to have done so.

So now it looks like Carlos Alberto is being investigated for tax evasion

It has to do with his ex-club Corinthians and the investment company MSI.
The former club president appeared in court and admitted there,
that top players like Mascherano, Tevez and Carlos Alberto
got their salaries on foreign bank accounts to evade taxes.
And so the Brasilian justice wants to clarify if the players
knew of these bank transactions.
Alberto said in an interview, that he didn´t do something wrong.
So i believe it before the opposite is shown.

I worry more about his health. Yesterday morning Schaaf said, he expects
Alberto in the Dortmund squad, but yesterday during training Alberto got a knew injury.
After a medical check he could continue training, but he didn´t run well.

Me, too. But only a Carlos Alberto, who can help us.

I expect a difficult match for us in Dortmund.
In the last matches our form increased, but i see
many question marks before the match.

- Dortmund (what performance can the BVB show)
- Will Diego play today for Brasil in Boston and return tired ?
- Will Loew be wise and give Mertesacker a break ?
- Do the Carlos Alberto scandals (taxes, knee) touch the team ?

We have many question marks in Dortmund. Combined with the fact that your "B" team is arguably more talented than our "A", I think you guys still have an advantage.

As far as form goes, some BVB fans think our "form" is up because we have won our last two matches.

I don't think so. I am not convinced that our form "increased." I think we benefited from playing Cottbus and Rostock.

I saw Werder. You guys are getting on the right track even with your "B" team.

If it is anything like Rostock, it will be a shit performance. We scored three against Cottbus, but we still weren't that good. Not in my opinion anyhow.

Plus, there is a chance both our left and right defensive backs (Dede and Degen) will miss the match through injury. I expect Degen to play with painkillers, but Dede is trying to rush back from a torn muscle in Rostock and I don't think we should play him.

We have no real backup for either player thanks to our amazingly stupid Sport Director.

He's going to be tired either way. We will have the same problem with Valdez and possibly Buckley. And Buckley might have to start for us on Friday because Kringe may have to play right back.

I think all of the regular starters will get a break.

Good to see Owomoyela back in the squad!

I also see that Schaaf has played it safe and didn't include Alberto and Borowski in the squad.
