Hull City have completed the signing of former Nigeria international midfielder Jay-Jay Okocha.

Okocha, 34, watched Hull's defeat at Blackpool on Saturday and has now agreed a one-year deal with the Tigers.

"I think he is the sort of player who will give us the creativity we need in midfield," said manager Phil Brown.

Okocha spent four years playing for Bolton until his release in July 2006, and has been playing in the Middle East with Qatar SC.
