haven't been to either city, but did hear that Liverpool has nice architecture.

Manchester is wonderful. Vibrant, cosmopolitan, great music scene. It has - officially - the best Chinese restaurant outside of China. It has a mile long stretch of curry houses which is surprisingly called Curry Mile. It is home to more students than any other city in Europe which can be good or bad, depending on your viewpoint.

It has a mix of new and old architecture with a lot of the city centre having been redeveloped after an IRA bomb in 1996.

I love it.



Liverpool is a shithole and is full of Scousers.

This is correct. Manchester is a nice city, Liverpool is not. . .Liverpool is also populated by filth.
