SJ@MET - Both of these teams have won just once in their last five outings. SJ is getting healthier while MET is losing guys. Lagos back in, Howard out. I maintain that Grafer is worth about a goal a game for the opposition. Grafer however, did hold up his end in his last sub for Howard, earning a shutout. MET has also had trouble with the top-tier teams. SJ is 10-4-3 all time v MET. SJ also has a "ref advantage".
SJ@3.25
dc@DAL - Both teams coming off 0-3 hammerings on the road. DAL is 12-7-1 all time v dc, and 1-0-1 this season, including a win last time out in Texas. DAL will be motivated as Kovalenko is still enemy #1 in the Burn lockerroom. Teams (dc) that get torched on the road don't usually turn it around in a road game. Kreis is due, and Rimando isn't on form. My personal opinion is that DAL didn't play horribly in LA. LA did get calls, breaks, and finished very well. The bogey in taking DAL anytime is the shaky play of Countess in goal. Like Grafer he's usually worth about a goal a game. I'm still with DAL until dc proves they can do anything but rollover away from RFK.
DAL@2.0
I'm 24-34 for the year, 20 of the 24 losses were on drawn games. -.855 units overall betting 1 unit/game.

My bad, I thought I read an article that said he was only playing Saturday. Didn't matter much, who would have though he'd give up 4?!?
Another 0-2 for me. I can't pick my nose right now. Dallas needs to cut Countess right now and replace him with an "open tryout" winner form the area...or anyone else.

OK, so who can explain to me the effect USA-Paraguay will have on line-ups? Are there going to be guys playing 2 matches in 2 or 3 days?

The USA team players played in the Wednesday matches (Mathis, Donovan, Stewart, etc.) but I don't think any of the USA players will play on Saturday.

I think you could make a case for betting on the home team all around on Fri-Sat. Colorado will have a big crowd, KC is missing guys in the back, including Garcia, plus Wolff. LA is getting hot. With luck NE will start Moore and not Harris. The MetroStars will be missing Mathis, Pope, and Jolley and gave up 4 to SJ, and has played well at home. Dallas has been cold as ice. Chicago should be missing Williams, Bocanegra, and Beasley.
