the new BS "look"
i'm beginning to get the feeling that Big Soccer is trying to make the site more MLS oriented. The standard skin is a boring white and the only changes you can make to it are to switch to one of the MLS team skins.
what's up with that? Did MLS buy-out BS?

Re: the new BS "look"
Personally, I use the "Soccer365" skin. I don't care a single second about Soccer365, but the light blue tones are better that the insanely crappy and unreadable default ones.
Lefutur, this could have been worse. Imagine BS following the current MLS Beckham buzz... Davidbeckhamish interface, davibeckhamian buttons, davidbekhamese mouse pointers, davidbeckhamic screens...
On mlsnet.com, they even have a regular David Beckham page, if you want to know what he is doing on a daily basis. Kim Jong Il is granted less hero-worship than him.
And it's cheap : only 250 millions $ ! What a bargain. With the same kind of money, MLS easily could have opened 2 or 3 new franchises and trained dozens of young rookies. Instead, they got an almost retired top-model who can, on his best days, carry out a few decent cross passes.
And some people still believe Americans are good at business .

Re: the new BS "look"
I like the top red but the all the white makes it tough to look at and follow.
The old template was better. Sorry I don't know the proper terminology, I'm
not in IT nor Graphic Design.

i'd add to your reputation for this hilarious response but my New York Red Bulls skin doesnt allow for that, although i can 'give you some wings' if you want...

Re: the new BS "look"
yes, the 365 skin is the only decengt one imo, but no rep button, nor (for mods) red/yellow card or IP buttons.
but i will make the effort to switch over to the default skin to be able to rep P-H for his kim jong-beckham remark!

Re: the new BS "look"
It's very buggy for me...I hate the kicks, but I wish I could hate a working feature...generally when I log on in the morning, they work, and in the afternoon, they don't, and they may or may not in the evening. Same with the rep button...didn't even show up for a while, then worked, then negative-repped people I tried to rep, then went back to normal, and now doesn't work again . And I discovered this a couple minutes ago in the Arsenal forum, trying to rep someone.

Re: the new BS "look"
I revive this thread because we were talking about beckham.
What ? The Galaxy didn't reach the playoffs ? Right on the money, aren't they !
Maybe one day the MLS will understand that soccer is a team sport. You can have an excellent passer, if he doesn't have anyone to pass the ball to, he will be useless.

The real problem was that Beckham only played about 4 or 5 games all season.
