Default United in for....

Manchester United and Sunderland are both targeting Ajax striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to The Sun.

The £7million-rated Swede is reported to have admitted that two English clubs have inquired about him.

Ironically the 20-year-old clashed with David Beckham during the game between United and Ajax in the Amsterdam tournament on Friday.

Manchester United expect to sign £5million-rated French defender Julien Escude by the weekend, says the Daily Star.
United officials are set to meet with Rennes director Pierre Dreossi on Friday to complete a deal for the left-back.

The paper quotes Dreossi as saying: "It's true Manchester United are interested in Escude. We are planning a meeting with them before the end of the week."

According to tribalfootball

Lazio have offered Argentine wing-back Juan Pablo Sorin to us for nothing, to cover the remaining cost of Stam's transfer fee.

From RedNews.co.uk

Our French correspondent tells us that "strong and - in my mind - reliable rumours indicate that we will bid for Lens and Sénégal right back, Ferdinand Coly."

He would cost around £2M

With the eeption of Escude, whom i havent seen play, these are all REALLY GOOD rumors to be hearing.

Zlatkan iibrohimavic is a great, young stirker, someone who could easily move up the ranks Very quickley, though im not really sure if we need him as much as sunderland does.

OK, nevermind, i actually hope sunderland gets him, so Claudio will have someone to pass the ball to.

but he would be a good pickup.

---

As i said, hevent seen anything from escude

---

Anytime you can get a solid defensive play like sorin for FREE (sort of) , you really dont wan tot wste that opportunity.

---

Coly is the one that excites me the most. He was one of the most impressive players in my mind for senegal during the world cup, and im suprised that nobody else has picked him up yet.

I remember thinking that during the Senegal/France match too. However, I didn't see much from him after that game, I wasn't exactly waking up at 2:00AM to watch Senegal's other matches, you know?
