I think this is a FSC televised game.

Can we talk about how everyone should stand and cheer at matches, and that everyone who doesn't is a pathetic loser?

I have a horrible feeling we are going to walk away with 0 pts.

    They suck too badly.

We are playing too well the last couple games.

Everything points to us drubbing them - however, every time that happens we end up losing. Last year we went in on a 9-0-4 run and lost 2-1 (F*** You Abbey) which then led us ot limping down the stretch going 2-5-4.

Riz: You're looking at the listing for the Colorado game. The TV listings are above the logos, and RSL is, in fact, FSC.

    I blame the usability testing.

We could, but why do you wanna discuss your losertude? ;)

Anyway, for some reason I have a lingering fear that DC will lay an egg this game and allow FSL to get their first win of the season...that, or we let in a late game goal and only achieve a draw.

What's with all the loser talk?
These guys suck worse than Toronto.

Playing on their rug won't be any fun, though.

DCU 3 - 1 RSL (come on, Troy. Prove me wrong! :))

No, you pathetic loser, that is for the post-game thread

I too have been worried about this game for some time. We have a bad habit of playing down to our opponents, we've just come off beating the snot out of two weakened opponents, the reserves played a listless game Tuesday, there's a let-down with Freddy getting called in early ........... plus, simple odds say that RSL cannot go on losing much longer.

On the other hand, the players can't go out and get trashed before the game .......

We should be able to control this game, but we have to be careful. We have to play shorter, slower balls - anything too long or too hard will bounce into the mountains on that ping-pong table of a surface. Feet of stone will always end up in a turnover.
Williams gives us fits too, as I recall.

This may be just the game for Fred to break out with some goals.

HA! Shows what you know! All the suckers in the stands are losers. The TRUE fans all get field passes and photograph the game from the end-line with their snazzy photo equipment.

That blows I was really hoping he would be present to see his former team bulldoze the crap out of these losers.

    DC 3:0 RSL

Their streak will not end with us.

If any of our guys get called up for National Team duty, will they miss this match?

I would think so. But it is getting too late to adjust.

No. Goff's article mentions that they'd play Saturday and head out on Monday.

    :)

I came to grips with my losertude/hood/ness a long time ago. I am comfortable in it. In fact, I revel in it.

That sounds too cool to be true.

Given our rather annoying tendency to play down to our opposition, I am a tad worried that we'll poke the ball around and accomplish nothing all match long, leaving our fans tense and nervous until the final whistle. A real nightmare would be the dual-PK kind of ending we've seen before.

Still, if this is to be the last match for a while for some of our boys, I think we'll send them off in style. I am hopeful that we continue to show the fluidity of movement that we've shown over the last two matches.

Emilio gets another one and drives the Chicago fans crazy w/ his use of the Cuauhtémoc celebration. Fred breaks his duck. And Moose keeps one down low enough to score from outside the box. RSL will score on a set play.

    3-1 good guys.

I'm thinking the Battle of the Headgear will be closer than the actual match. 3-1 United, Fred with a brace, Erpen off a corner and Esky beating his buddy Bobby.
