[Own Goal Hat-Trick]

I guess i can kinda see why some words ( ********, shit, ect) are censored on tv, but why would something like "god" be censored. i mean, ive seen it where they bleep out god, but leave the word 'damn' alone. if theyre gonna be super ultra anal puritan, why would they do this?

anyone know the standard explaination?

My guess is that religious people might feel that "god damn" is more offensive than a simple "damn".

Then again, I'm an atheist so what do I know?
