I'd be screaming if I had to go back to Knoxville.

Seven years of that town :::sigh:::

Seeing as how there were no suggestions over the last year on this post, my hopes are not high, but...

I just moved from Boston to Knoxville and am dealing with withdrawal. Does anybody know of any bars/restaurants/etc. that offer soccer viewing?

I have lived here for a couple of years and still have not found a good place. You may want to try Jalisco's in Oak Ridge. They have a wide screen showing mostly Mexican games. They would probably be open to other games if you mention it.

Hello all you USA Nat fans in and around Knoxville. I am a long time US fan and there is a small group of us who usually try to watch the games together (when we don't go to them) at a local Mexican restaurant (Senor Taco's on Broadway) or elsewhere..........Agave Azul on Kingston Pike actually advertised and broadcastall the Copa America matches. Nice little crowd would gather on those nights.

There is a really cool and interesting British pub outside of Gatlinburg that has FSW and great real pub food. I think it is called the Goat and Parrot or something. I was only there once for an American game I couldn't get anywhere in Knox County!!!! It was amazingly cool, but not that close to Knoxville central.

I am having folks over to a party for the USA-Jamaica match. All are welcome. Just give me a call beforehand (865.661.1134) so I know how many to cook for and how much liquid refreshment is in order. I can give directions and the festivities will kick in tomorrow around 530P.

As far as a soccer friendly bar.........and I am an "expert" on this........NONE in Knoxville vicinity. It's terrible especially coupled with the fact that the biggest cable provider does not carry FSW. It is a terrible soccer town for a fan, but it is slightly better than it was ten years ago. Best bet is a satellite dish or MOVE.

Thanks to both of you guys for chiming in.

Any plans for the game on 9/4 (or even the 9/8 game)? I've got a friend in Asheville who knows of a decent bar there and I can't believe it but I'm considering heading over the mountains. Ya'll know of anything closer?

There are no bars in Knoxville (that I know of) that have Fox Sports World.......USSoccer match-tracker...golly, this sucks! Panama_US will be the first match since the Canada friendly a few years ago in Ft. Lauderdale that I am gonna miss either on TV orin person. Heavy heart, but faith in the lads, nonetheless.

COMCAST is a bunch of nitwits.
