Question Confed Cup Viewing - S.L.C.??

Anybody know where (if anywhere) to go watch the Confed Cup (or soccer in general) in Salt Lake City? I am here for the summer and have no idea...

i'll even bring beer...unless you're THAT kind of a utahn...

Arrow possibility

I will be in town for Saturday's game - may have a place, won't know until that morning. If it works out, be warned - not Utahn myself, but am THAT kind. PM your phone number and I'll ring you if it works out.

Here's a few sports bars in SLC you can call.
If none are (or will be) showing the games maybe they have some ideas who might or where a "soccer pub/bar" might be.
I lived there for 3 years and never had a problem with the membership thing but I can't say for sure it won't be a problem at some place. Unlikely IMO.

La Frontera near Fashion Place Mall, about 60th & State may show it. They've had pay-per-view World Cup qualifiers in the past.

Port O Call, 4th & West Temple downtown has several dozen TV's and they probably won't mind if you change one over to Galavision. I once watched the Tour de France there & Blitzz fans have met there before to watch World Cup qualifiers on ESPN.

D'oh! I really am a moron.

I should have thought about this before.

Samba Grill at the Gateway Center (4th West and 1st South) or Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square (7th East and 5th South) will probably show it, if they have Direct TV.

I think there are some other Brazilian restaurants around.

Smile saturday then...

nice work blitzz.

while la frontera sounds like a bit of a hike for me (i have no car and rely on trax/bus) any of the other three sound imminently do-able--rodizio especially as it is a stone's throw from el trax....

if you are up for meeting up on saturday, send me a pm with info.
