Worst Group Ever?
As a Chivas fan from Colorado, I can't go to the games except when they play the Rapids in September. So, naturally I rely on FSC when it's on, or BigSoccer. As I check this Chivas USA group almost daily, I never see any new or interesting news. Just the same banter over and over.
For those that don't know, Chivas played the Seattle Sounders last night and won 3-1. Do we care? Nope. I had to go on the Seattle Sounders group and their website to just find that out. We never have any real reviews with intellegent debates after the games. Usually, it is just a rip fest on the other team.
So....as a group I believe we might need to pull our heads out. I am not there to attend games and watch first hand. Those that do though, need to enlighten us with views on the game and how the team played. Those that get to watch all the games can chime in too. I think if this were to occur we would all have better appreciation for Chivas USA, and the beginning to what looks, a promising season.
Last Night:
Chivas USA 3 - Sounders 1
Scoring Summary:
Seattle, Le Toux (O’Brien) 12:00
Chivas U.S.A. Suarez (pk) 14:00.Chivas U.S.A., Galindo (Taylor) 27:00; Chivas U.S.A., Cunliffe (Mendoza) 57:00.
Lineup for Chivas: Burpo, Barrera (Vaughn 46), Suarez (Zotinca 46), Thomas (Hernandez 41), Perez, Nagamura, Lopez, Mendoza (Solorzano 78), Cunliffe, Galindo (Hamilton 46), Taylor.
Looks like after an early goal, Suarez bottled home a PK, followed by a great goal from Galindo. Galindo had many chances, one hitting the crossbar. Cunliffe (my college teammate) scored his first for the 1st team in the 57th from a great through ball from Mendoza.
Alright, anyone else listen or watch the game??? Love to hear about it.

just like you, I had to search Seattle news for the result.
I didn't watch the game or listen to it in the radio,
the Seattle News has a nice >> report << on it.
There is USL games online but since I don't follow the USL, I don't see a reason to subscribe to it!
Don't hesitate to continue to post here... it would be a step in the right direction to increase fan discussions.

Re: Worst Group Ever?
It went to the match and had a great time.
The PK was a bit suspect, but it was a friendly so it didn't matter too much in the end.
Burpo and Galindo were both class.
Galindo even celebrated his goal with the Emerald City Supporters, letting us know that Seattle is still in his heart.
He's a great talent, and I hope that he at least makes the MLS all-star team his first year in the league.
Good luck on the rest of your season, and I hope Galindo continues to score for you!

Thanks for the report bro, I am sure that Galindo will light up a few more scoreboards in his debut season. He shows a refreshing kind of hunger and creativity that will turn many heads in this league. That celebration sounded really classy as well!
I wish the best for your boys as well. Hopefully the new ownership team will step it up and ensure that the Sounders gain more support. The team has a long history Seattle that should be preserved. Heck I remeber seeing these guys play against the L.A. Salsa in the A-League!

Re: Worst Group Ever?
Yea... along with everybody else I had to go to the sounders site for info. Not even the chivasusa homepage had a match report. Lame.
It's good to see that Barrera had a start and that Cunliffe scored. Galindo being true to his roots is a true showing of class.

Re: Worst Group Ever?
Hey thanks y'all for the website and the t.v. channels. I have Fox Socccer Channel and that is pretty much it. I watched a couple games on Telefutura, but this weekends game against the Rapidos is on the Altitude Sports Network here in Colorado, so I'm pumped.
Chivas are sitting in 3rd with a couple games in hand. This is going to be a tight conference all season. Let's get stoked.

I would recommend the MLSlive.tv subscription from mlsnet.com. It's such a lifesaver when the games aren't broadcasted on any network.
