Default US-Brazil viewing in San Diego

I am going to be in San Diego on the day of the US-Brazil Confeds Cup match (6/21). Can anyone suggest a good place to see the game with other US supporters? Thanks!

Thanks for the tip. I found a listing for a pub on India street that claims to show soccer, but it's got a different name (Shakespeare's Pub):

Is this the same place?

Crap, you guys got my hopes up!

The Princess Pub and Shakespeare's are 2 different places. I'd be surprised if either will be showing the matches...Telefutura is not available in SD as far as I know. Major bummer.

Please report back here if you find out otherwise!
Thanks!

So I called these places and they said the US/Brazil game is not scheduled to be shown. However, the folks at Shakespeare's said that the game may well be added by ESPN closer to the date and that if it is, they'll air it. I'll call back closer to game day and see if anything's changed.

Unfortunately, I've gotten that same line before from them...

But thanks for checking anyways, um_chili! :-)

Out of all the Spanish-language statiions we get in San Diego, telefutura is not one of them. We're screwed.

Maybe there's a Brazilian bar somewhere that will set up a special satellite dish of some sort? Anyone know of one?

That's insane that San Diego doesn't have a Telefutura affiliate. Hopefully you guys can find someone with Dish Network to catch those games.

May be a little bit of a reach, but does anyone have any connections up at UCSD? I know they manage to reel in Cricket matches via satellite for their significant Indian population. They also have a bunch of Brazilians. Maybe they already have something lined up?

I used to work there at UCSD, I'll try to think of someone, but doubtful.

In the meantime, I have emailed DISH Network and asked if they have any restaurant/bar customers in San Diego where maybe we can find the match. Will let you all know if I hear anything back...

...can't believe the Brazil match is the hardest to see!
