Default Article about NZ keeper

http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2002/...222551986.html

Incredible story--he's a recovering alcoholic and nearly died in a car crash in South Africa, the doctors said he would never walk again. He seemed like a great guy at the game and does here too.

He took all the crap we gave him with a smile on his face and even toyed with us taking extra long on his goal kicks and gave us props after the game..wish him luck at the confed cup as long as it isn't against us.

Man, am I impressed - this guy's been through the wringer, and he's still able to take all the stick we gave him with a smile.

Hope he does well, except if the US plays NZ in France, of couse.

Bring him to the MLS, it looks like the Metrostars need a keeper.
