Default CONCACAF should be setting up more friendlies.....

Reading the recently updated FIFA "A" calendar, there are only 3 matches involving CONCACAF teams.

Jamacia v. India on August 29th and Sept 1st in England (Watford and Wolverhampton)

Canada v. Scotland on OCt 15th in Edinburgh.

CONCACAF doesn't make the matches....the individual FAs do. The Confeds only are involved as far as refs go...

don't forget the fact that all domestic leagues are in full swing, and the FAs don't want to waste time with useless friendlies...not that Canada knows anything about that...

In saying CONCACAF, i'm refering to the confederation and it's national FAs

Scotland found matchtime for us even though they would be in the middle of Euro 2004 qualifying. Days are set aside by FIFA for international matches. FAs shouldn't have a problem finding decent opponents.

Due to the world cup there is a lot of down time right now. Copa America isn't for another 2 years and the next Gold Cup isn't until next summer. I think you'll see a lot of friendlies this coming fall after the completion of the MLS and A-league seasons. Especially since just about every team will be in a rebuilding period.

The only venue in JA suitable for International football is out of service for the next 6 months so if Jamaica plays any friendlies more than likely it will be on the road.

I would say England, Miami, Toronto and the Tri State Area

respect

I doubt seeing matches in TO for the forseeable future.

That's _why_ they found time for you. Trying to get in a decent practice game.

Probably see a Mexico - USA friendly in December or January as the national sides begin to get back together for training. Probably a match that will take place in LA or San Diego. I know the US doesn't like playing latin american teams in so cal, but a potential of 60k or more fans may change their mind. $$$$$$$
