Soccer v. Star Wars
i'm only fifteen...as that i'm the oldest, i'm the one that cuts grass (and the only one allowed to drive the riding mower). with our rather large yard i tend to think about bizarre and odd things. a while back i came to the realization that soccer can easily be compared to George Lucas's Star Wars world. (a lot of this is going to be prequel Trilogy).
we have ourselves the Galactic Rebublic, also known as FIFA. heading the republic is the tyrant/whiner Senator Palpatine, or, if you will, Sepp blatter.
and we cannot forget the Jedi Order, AKA the REFEREES. wielding their whistles and flags they are the "keepers of peace and justice throughout the republic" (Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: A New Hope)
any other comparisons?

Done. What do you think, more fallout from the Italy/SK match? (He did that one, didn't he?) Anyway, this stuff is very funny, esp Pele and Jar-Jar.
