Pax removed from Direct TV
The Pax national feed will no longer be a part of Direct TV's lineup as of 9/26/02.
Just wanted to post this as it could affect WUSA fans who have Direct TV

To all NYC Time Warner cable subscribers...The only reason Channel 31 (PAX here in NYC) was watched for about a year was when FoxSportsWorld was on from like 8am-12am.

I am sorry I do not. The information was contained in a message with the latest Direct TV bills.

I suspect PAX's efforts to garner local affiliates is part of the reason. One of the low power UHF stations carries PAX programming. It is also part of the local channel package for Raleigh-Durham on DirecTV. While I lose the national PAX feed, I'll still get PAX (whether I want it or not).
This move does not surprise me. At some point I would expect the national feed of Univision to go away, too.
