with new chairman Darragh MacAnthony splashing the cash the mighty "Posh" surely cannot screw-up promotion 3 years on trot?

(with director of football Barry Fry still in a job - oh yes they can is a possible answer!! .)

Dean Keates and Chris Westwood signed from League 2 champions Walsall. Keates was Walsalls' player of season, both ever-presents in team that topped the table - two excellent new signings.

Charlie Lee centre back from Tottenham reserves signs - a young hungry player with bags of potential

Chris Whelpdale signed from non-league Billericay one of the best midfielders outside the football league.

Bookies released odds and Peterborough clear favorites to win League 2 this season.
