WOR to Feature Shep Messing tomorrow on air @ 9:30am/ Messing to reveal major player acquisition

Hey folks. As some of you know, i'm currently working at WOR 710AM.

WOR has been pretty open for my RedBulls ideas, and so i'm happy to announce the following:

a) Shep Messing will be calling in to WOR's Saturday Morning Live with Joe Barlett and George Meade tomorrow at 9:30am.

Shep has told me that he is going to drop some MAJOR news regarding a player that the Bulls will sign next week. It is one of the names that has been rumored previously... I happen to know who it is, but you'll have to listen tomorrow to figure it out

Here's the thing. SML's co-host Joe Barlett has expressed interest in having Shep call in EVERY WEEK for a regular segement, doing game previews and to drop the latest news. Shep, as we all know, is a great guy and is VERY open to doing this to publicize the team and sport. However, as with all things, listeners have to express interest in the segement. So... I'm going to ask everyone to call into the show tomorrow at 9:30am to ask Shep questions. Even if you don't get on, the fact that the phones are being pounded with questions will be FANTASTIC.

b) Bruce Arena has confirmed to call in to next week's Saturday Morning Live... i'm not sure when as of yet, but i will let you know once *I* know.

b) I've also been 'commisioned' to do a small game preview for the home opener on sunday. I've gotten sound clips from Mike Lewis, Shep, and hopefully Seth Stammler later today... listen for it playing during the news on WOR all weekend.

Again, i'm going to ask that everyone call tomorrow @ 9:30am. I think that having Shep call in each week is very doable.. i just want some leverage that the segment is getting listeners. CALL CALL CALL. Joe Bartlett was infamous for leaving the studio last year to run to a local bar to watch world cup games. He is not a hardcore soccer guy, but he is OPEN AND UNBIASED TOWARDS SOCCER.

radio station. 710AM. Bill O'Reilly and Michael Savage are on the station... its mostly a right wing conservative talk station.

...but tomorrow @ 9:30am its all gonna be about Shep, and hopefully a few calls from you guys
