Arrow Paolo di Canio wants to move to Pompey

http://www.football365.com/Homegroun...ry_67346.shtml

Paolo, free from the opression of Roder, want to stay in Enlgand. And Pompey wants players with EPL legs. So its up to Harry if he wants to make a move for di Canio he can be had.

I have to say that this looks to be a great move for Portsmouth, di Canio, and everybody else. We need players of di Canio's caliber, he willing to work within the budget, he loves Harry, and he proved at the end of the season that he still got it. He adds depth to the squade that will help us finish in the top 17 next year.

Harry said recently that he would like to sign Di Cannio, who he rates as an excellent player, he said the only thing is that di Cannio is as nutty as a fruit cake! When they played 8 a side football at West Ham Harry would arrange it so that Di Cannio would always win! Giving his team the best players ect!

Di Cannio would be good for us, there's no doubt about that, players with his talent and passion are very rare! The thing I have misgivings on is Merson and Di Cannio on the same team. Would it work?? I would like to think so, what about you guys?
