I wanted to start a thread but could not because of my yellow card, which i am still very embarrased about , so i used my head(no jokes please) and decided to revive an old thread with no replies and do it here see, i am quite proud of my self for this plan


Silvio Berlusconi Boots


If you were in silvio boots, besides having me at your door what would you do if you were in his position and had GBP100 Million for a couple of superstars which he wants, what would you do if your owned united and had same decision of buying any 2 players in current world football who would you pick

Please think about would they fit in with us with their respective attitudes, style of play, our need for a certain type of player etc so you could pick 2 cheap ones

Bearing in mind all players will move ofcourse

I would first pick carlos puyol for 30 million, he would be a rock for us with him and rio as CB

My other player is Buffon for GBP30 as i am not a fan of vandersar even with his PK saves, he is the best goalkeeper of our genaration and we would still get about 8 years from him, we would have the finest defence in world and a great base to attack from

Both are also good pros with lots of years left

I did think of kaka, ronaldinho etc but i did not think they would fit into out team at the moment with all our youngsters in those positions

P.S I am exausted after this and am now going to bed cos its 7.00am and i been working all night, goodnight x
