Welcome to the 11th Hottest USMNT Players thread, in which all of us watch the various photo outlets like hawks, waiting for cool new photos to post and swap, and if nothing's available, we'll just post those same three photos of Boca, Demps and Gooch that everyone seems to enjoy. Even though this is all in fun, there are several rules that must be adhered to: 1. Trolling anywhere on BS is frowned upon, but especially on this thread. It will not be tolerated (BabyTiger's got our back). Posting pics from the infamous NYT photo spread has been done in the previous threads and laughed at, so get over it and move on. 2. A picture MUST be posted on every page. While talking about how hot our boys are is great, it's more stimulating to see how hot they are. 3. Give credit to the folks taking the pictures. Without them, we would not have 5000+ posts over the course of these threads! 4. If he's been called into camp, he counts. One cap wonder, he counts. Always a benchwarmer and never a sub, he counts. If he's crossed the player pool listing at any point in anyone's memory, he counts. I bring this up because a) at least one of us is awfully fond of GKs, a position for which we have depth wildly outpacing available caps and b) photos of players from years past are always welcome. 5. If it's the player's birthday, try to post a photo. 6. On a matchday when the USMNT has a game, there is a concern about results and spoilers. Please avoid giving out scores of games until after 72 hours from the end of a given match (per the new policies of this forum). If in doubt, then use the "result" tags -- for those that don't know, it's done accordingly: [ result] yadda yadda yadda [ /result] (minus the spaces inside the opening bracket). Please note that this request applies to photo captions as well as to open discussions. All ten previous threads: uno dos tres quatro cinco seis siete ocho nueve diez Wildcat, the mod, gave me a good idea when he reminded me to open a new thread as #10 was approaching 500 posts. He suggested we do a "Best XI" and so, being the insomniac I am, I went through the 10th thread and tallied how many pictures of each player there were. I did not count group shots. What's really funny about that list is you can guess which thread regular is responsible for which ranking. Wonder how it would stack up if you did a census of all the threads? Yay, eleven! What a beautiful (hunky) institution this thread has become! And I am super-proud that two of my Rapids boys eked their way into the top 10. His wife Kelly gave birth to a healthy daughter named Giuliana on Wednesday, March 14.

There is a 30 second clip of Carlos on Soccernet, if you look at the sidebar where all the videos are. He talks about the pride in playing for the USA. Not funny or anything, just him talking which is fine by me as long as I can look at him.
Didn't play his best, but I enjoyed the leg shot of him towards the end of the match. And there must be something about me and the #5 because this #5: is quite good looking (check out the Mission Possible: First Cap all_access vid on ussoccer), but has yet to be on par with my favorite #5:

As good looking as some of these guys are (I'm writing about you Bocanegra, Twellman, Dempsey, and the newly capped Feilhaber), even they can't make the new atrocious kits look good.
I agree with that. I really liked the Don't Tread third jerseys last year but these ones are just blah.
