Default Hint by KC Mayor Barnes?

At yesterday's training facilities groundbreaking I thought I heard Mayor Barnes say something like "...more good news to come". I'm thinking that may mean the future stadium in KC. Or was it just wishful hearing?

Rumours are flying about the Bannister Mall site, I would imagine that she was referring to that.

I tried to channel surf the 10 p.m. news last night and only saw 1 small bit on Channel 9. It looked like all the stations were at the ground-breaking and other photographers also. Seems like the Wizards got the media there, but the event got almost no air time. Maybe Friday night, because of high school games, is a bad time to hope for time on the sports slot.

I just wish I could have been at the ground breaking. Since moving to LA I feel so far removed from everything that is happening.

The rumor I just heard stated the "Grandview Triangle" at the bend of I-470. I don't know where/what that is. Anybody?

well, not to be smart about it but 470 is fairly short there assuming it would be east of the triangle and west of the 350 exit. i guess anywhere within a couple of miles from the triangle is pretty accesible in the big scheme of things.

Well, one could argue that the Bannister Mall area is within the "Grandview Triangle". However, the only place I-470 really "bends" is in Lee's Summit when it goes from East/West to North/South. Plenty of room out there.....but it a little way out there.
