Virgin Atlantic Airways just released London non-stop sale fares of $175 & up each way from 5 major U.S. cities. These are the lowest fares we've seen on Virgin for spring, and they're valid during a perfect time to visit London, when temperatures are nice and mild.

Each-way fares include:

New York (JFK and Newark) to London ... $175
Washington D.C. to London ... $190
Chicago to London ... $214
San Francisco to London ... $233
Los Angeles to London... $240

Sale fares apply to departures April 1 - May 17. A Saturday night stay is required and return must be completed within 30 days.

Thanks for the heads up. Wish there wasn't the saturday night requirement. I'd STRONGLY considering making it out for later CL rounds

Can someone explain to me what the Saturday night requirement thing is please?

It just means the dates you'll be at your destination must include a saturday night. Airlines use it to prevent people from using cheap fares for business trips.

I got an e mail from "Air Tran" showing cheap flights in the Fall. They have some/one to London starting at $81 !! Top price goes out at $800, but if some people are quick you might "steal a deal". Always Champions League games around that time too, so an extra one might be fitted in!

On the e mail it listed flights to London, Dublin, Rome, Venice and Florence, as well as the Cayman Islands and Jamaica.
