It's a shame that he won't be returning next year. He's been in great for of late, and still is showing his quality. I think he will regret his decision - he still has pleanty to offer.
He wont be happy just being a commentator, and I hope he at least follows up on his threat to take the Uefa coaching clinic.

ouch - he's gonna have alot to live up to.
Even if he attains 1/2 the results of his father, every single article, report and commentary will always begin with: "The Great Peter Schmeicle's son......"
