i would go with maradona hands down

PLUS,
if i had to pick a number 10 based on the traditions of qualities given by the numbers, i would consider pele a #9 even though he wore #10

As said already, Maradona is the best no. 10 ever I believe. But I reckon Michael Owen was a great number 10 at liverpool, and England

Valderrama, Maradona, Hagi, and Zidane.

I was going to include Ronaldinho, but I'm not sure if he would be considered a classic "10".

Maradona is the best number 10. He was fat but he could still perform incredible acts. Even at his peak, he was very stocky.

My favourite number 10s are Platini, Scifo, Hagi and Baggio.

nice point catel. i like the french term "9 1/2". players like rivaldo, cantona, zola and bergkamp are a 9.5. pele could just do everything so you cant really term him anything except all of it.

deco is more the number 10 in that barca attack with kaka the 10 for brazil and i cant see ronny playing in that role. ronny can just be termed a forward.

my fav 10 is maradona. fav 9.5 is bergkamp.
