Yeah, it was on TV in France.
0 - 2 for Sochaux at half time, then les Verts dominated the game and scored. Third goal for Sochaux was scored after a counter-attack at the very end.

I was thrilled to see OL in the French Cup on TV here in the USA.
It was on Setanta Sports. I believe that they just signed a deal with them.

Dumb question, but which Cup has more meaning in France:
Coupe Gauliosse (sp?) or Coupe de la Ligue??

Thanks.

i don't know what you mean by "Coupe Gauliosse", but if it's the coupe de france, it's hard to say. the coupe de france requires winning more matches, and lets in more teams from lower levels, so it inspires more interest overall and probably carries more prestige, but the Coupe de la Ligue gets more TV coverage, and the winner gets a UEFA spot.

there is a competition called the coupe gambardella, it's for U-21 only and gets some attention because the reserve teams of L1 clubs generally battle it out at the end.

I think the coupe gauloise is a creation of EA sports because for some reason they could not use the name "coupe de france"

of course the CdF is more important!!!
