TEAM OF THE SEASON(So Far)
Hey everybody, as y'all know we're just about approaching the half way point in the season. So, I just wanted to know who would make your team of the season, who u believe has played the best football so far.
Heres my team:
David James(Portsmouth)
Nemanja Vidic(Manchester United)
Sol Campbell(Portsmouth)
Jonathan Woodgate(Middlesbrough)
Michael Essien(Chelsea)
Cristiano Ronaldo(Manchester United)
Matthew Taylor(Portsmouth)
Steve Sidwell(Reading)
Didier Drogba(Chelsea)
Nwankwo Kanu(Portsmouth)
Kevin Doyle(Reading)
Worth Mentions:Phil Jagielka(Sheffield United),Emmanuel Adebayor and Cesc Fabregas(Arsenal), Scott Carson(Charlton), Gabriel Agbanlahor and Gareth Barry(Aston Villa)
PS: In case youre wondering I'm not a portsmouth fan , im a gunners fan.

You mean besides Phil and Tony, right?

What do you make of Phil's assessment of James as equal parts genius and dodgy clown?
Geez, 4 out of 11 from Portsmouth? Would that have anything to do with their recent performance at the Grove?
It's not like I have any better list though! (Lehmann, Eboue, Toure, Hoyte (guh!) ...)
Cheers!

Re: TEAM OF THE SEASON(So Far)
well i do agree with phil, he might be equal parts genius and egual parts clown but still he's kept a phenomenal number of clean sheets this season and that too at the age of 36.
I mean everybody, including phil and tony..
well they were good at the emirates but the gunners misfired as well.. whats with wenger starting with alliadiere instead of adebayor

The sense on the Arsenal forum was that Wenger was giving Aliadiere a last-chance run-out before cutting him loose in January. That, and resting Adebayor.
But, yes, I just watched the Portsmouth match and the bump in energy Arsenal got when Adebayor entered was amazing.
On Arsenal TV the announcers were talking about David James's genius/clown record as England's national team GK.
