Default Use the beckham rule to bring young new star

I think the MLS teams have to use beckham rule to bring great players who will be stars in the future.

Morais from vasco da gama

transfer fee: €$10 millions but accepts 5 millions for play in top 4 european league.

Alexandre pato from internacional

today he score 1 goal and kick azz in the Inter 4x1 Palmeiras.
Transfer fee: €$10 millions.

renato augusto from flamengo.
good players, a bit overrated.

€20 millions

all of then have U$10-20 milions of transfer fee and can be negotiated in near futuro for 2x or 3x of that.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, but these players do not want to go to MLS. They want the money offered by Europe. More importantly, they will develop into better players in Europe...this does not hold true for the MLS.

I don't know too many younger stars out there who would be available but I support the bringing in of top young talent! The trouble is would they want to come here when they could get higher paid contracts not to mention better competition and more exposure in Europe? By coming to the MLS they could even risk a national team spot because most head coaches don't regard the MLS as a highly competitive league(whether it is or not). I do think however, the league could go after the UNDER 21 or UNDER 23 players and let them develop in the MLS until they go back to Europe.
