but his club Al-Ahly are reluctant to let him go.

so i was just wondering, he is a central/attacking midfielder, how is Reading in that are this year?

At least one is needed as cover for Sidwell and Harper. There was some talk of trying to get one good enough to take over for Harper, but that has kind of died down because of the recent..pleasantness.

I think we saw Reading's dangerously thin midfield exposed today when Sidwell went down, and Reading were left with a player much more suited to a dm or back line position as the best option,
I think, esp since sids hasn't re-signed for past June, a creative mid is vital.
