Neil Danns is supposed to be an interesting prospect. I'm not sure if he's going to be a star on the world stage, but he might do it at club level. He's a young (about 17) midfielder with Blackburn.

I really try to avoid ever mentioning my own team on this board because, frankly, I think it always reeks of bias when you do that but we have a youngster called Julian Gray about whom you might hear more in the next year or so.
He's a 21 year old left-sided player (a position in which there's a dearth of talent in England) who excelled last year in all three positions -- outright left wing, left midfield, and left wing back. He's fast and rangy and has the skill to beat people, but he can also get back, cover, and tackle, surprisingly well for a relative beanpole.
He was a member of Arsenal's highly successful youth team a couple of years and we picked him up for half a million because a combination of Cole and Silvinho was limiting his opportunities. At the time, a lot of my Arsenal supporting friends were not at all happy about the deal, and predicted that we were getting a good one, and it could come back to haunt them.
He didn't really break into our side until Steve Bruce brought him into the team at the start of last season, but he was immediately a revelation and went on to become our Young Player of the Year. By the end of the season, there were rumours that a lot of Premiership clubs were looking at him.
If he picks up this season where he left off last, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Premiership by Christmas (unless we're well up the league). I took my wife to a game last year (she doesn't follow football at all) and she instantly said "he's the best player on the pitch (and we were fielding Morrison, et al). My point there is that he clearly has that little bit of "something special" about him, for what it's worth. When he gets the ball, things happen.

Damn where the hell is this clown.
He jinxed Viana after he won young european player of the year...after a good 4 months at newcastle where he was a fan favourite he just went down the gutter..dont know why.
Quaresma..well hes had a rough year at barca but now hes coming back stronger then ever. Should have accepted uniteds double swoop in may 2003 for both him and ronaldo...and not gone ot barca at all.
already motm in portugals games ahead of ronaldo vs belgium and brazil
Slowly regaining the scintilating agility and accelration he had before his horrible injury at barca.
