Default Name the single best and worst moment of a career

That is how players sometimes are remembered for just one moment in their career.

Maradona
Best: 2nd goal against England
Worst: Maradona leaving or escaping from napoli after he tested positive for drugs.

Gazza
Best: his goal against Scotland.
Worst: Too many

Baggio
Best: his goal against Czechoslovakia.
Worst: Missing the PK against Brazil.

Zidane
Best: Perhaps the 1998 WC Final....
Worst: Obviously.....

Roberto Carlos
Best: His freekick against France
Worst: Henry's goal at WC 2006.

Del Piero International

worst: twice missing the 2-0 goal in the 2000 European Championships

best: scoring the 2-0 goal in the 2006 WC semi-final.

I always associate Gazza with his free kick against Arsenal in the 1991 FA Cup semi final. His lowest point would probably be the final the same year when he injured his knee - he was never the same after that.

Cruijff
Best: His goal against Den Haag in the 71/72 season. Even though it looks great I've seen way prettier, but never have I seen a player react so fast. He didn't even need to look.
Worst: Missing in front of an open goal against Real Madrid for Ajax.

Van Basten
Best: It hardly get's better than his bicycle kick against Den Bosch.
Worst: Obviously picking up his injury against Groningen. That's where all the nastiness started.

I think a good nomination for his worst would be telling his team to injure Cristiano Ronaldo in the first 5 minutes of the game, and then telling them to ignore all fairplay rules and take the ball for a run at goal.

And losing regardless.

Worst: Being banned from Euro 2004 for spitting at Poulsen
