Default Glen Who?

With Seol tearing up the right side, it's not at all surprising that he's kept his starting spot, but is anyone else surprised that Little hasn't even made it to the bench the last couple games? Last season Little was a revalation, this season it sounds like he's fighting his own personal relegation (Stoke interested in a loan). I can only guess that Coppell hasn't been impressed with what Little has been showing during practice and reserve matches.

He needs to hang in there because with a squad this small we could need every Little bit we have.

Not a total surprise as Gunnarsson gives the option to stiffen up the midfield if need be, while Hunt can play both wings.

He's been offered a new contract, which wouldn't have been likely if he'd dropped out of Coppell's plans.

I'd rather see him on the bench than Hunt though.

Just found this:

Can he really complain with the way Seol is playing?

Maybe about not being in the bench more, but no, he shouldn't be starting. I'd agree with Richard, I'd rather have him on the bench than Hunt.

There was always the question about whether his pace was going to work in the prem, and if his tricks would work against prem defenders as well as they did in the ccc.
I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised he hasn't seen the field more thoughl. I thought there might be a rotation, as seol can play on the left and center, as well as up top.
In the end, little's injuries knocked him out essentially from, what, march or april, until mid-sept, and as well as they've started, he's just way behind. Even so, if he's looking to knock seol onto the bench, he's got his work cut out for him.
I hate to see him unhappy, though. He's suppossed to be a great lockerroom presence.

Paul Gascoigne (who had a spell at Burnley) apparently referred to Glen Little as being "completely mad", which is quite something given the source
