Default Reading @ West Ham 10/01/06- Pre/During/Post Match Talk, [ r ]

9:00 ET on Sunday, on Setanta Extra. I think this is the forth meeting since Pardew left. Right?

West Ham lost to Manchester City lost weekend, giving Reading some more hope. And today, they lost 3-0 to Palermo with a pretty full squad playing. Tevez hasn't scored yet. Hopefully, he'll have to wait until after the break for his first goal.

edit: can someone put an R in the title?

would actually be dissapointed not to take a point in this match. Waiting for West Ham to break out and play how they are capable. Hopefully that can wait for next weekend.

And I think its technically the 5th league meeting since he left. The first one he wasn't in charge of West Ham yet, but if I remember correctly it was Dillon's first match as caretaker.

We haven't been able to beat them at Upton Park, and they haven't been able to beat us at home either, but this feels a little different right now.

I have to go with Coppell on this one. The Hammers are due to break out. I just hope it isn't against us.

I agree with him too. I don't expect this one to be easy at all, and really, I'm still expecting a loss. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Kind of off topic, but why are so many games this weekend on Sunday? Is it because of the Champions League games?

Murty is out, Gunnarson or Bikey could cover but I would expect De La Cruz to stand in for him.

Expected line up:

-------------------Marcus Handyman

De La Cruz-------Sonko-----------Ivar--------------Shorey

Seol-------------Sidwell--------Harper------------Convey

-------------------Doyle----------Lita

I thought Bikey had a lock on Murty's spot.

I thought so too, but Cruz is certainly the veteran you can count on type of player.
