Re: Haitian Première Division news
AS Carrefour deprives Roulado of the league leader position

AS Carrefour
Many Haitian Internationals as well as key players will be missing from their respective clubs as the CFU Digicel Cup kicks off for Haiti next week in Jamaica. Many players were missing this week's action due to national team training. Last wednesday at Parc Edouard Baker in Carrefour, host AS Carrefour's 2-0 win deprived Roulado of a chance to take sole position of league first place. ASCAR, eager to please the home crowd, started slow against the Gonaviens but worked their way into the match with goals from Stanley Caseau and Corsican Jean-Baptist Elisca. With the win ASCAR moves up to the 7th spot while Roulado drops to 3rd.
To the league's surprise, Zenith FC moved from 5th spot to the new league leaders following their 3-0 home triumph over Aigle Noir at Parc Saint Victor in Cap-Haïtien.

Zenith FC du Cap-Haitien
here are the other league scores from the week,
Racing des Gonaïves 0:0 Tempête FC Parc Vincent, Gonaïves
Cavaly 1:1 ASC Parc Gérard Christophe
AS Carrefour 2:0 Roulado Parc Edouard Baker, Carrefour
Violette Athletic Club 3:2 AS Mirebalais Stade Sylvio Cator, Port-au-Prince
US Frères 1:0 Victory SC Stade Sylvio Cator, Port-au-Prince
Zénith FC 3:0 Aigle Noir Parc Saint Victor, Cap-Haïtien
Don Bosco 0:0 Racing Club Haïtien Stade Sylvio Cator, Port-au-Prince
Baltimore SC 0:0 Dynamite FC Parc Levelt, St. Marc

Re: Haitian Première Division news
Don Bosco retakes League First Place
The 7 league matches last weekend started an upheaval at the head of the competition. The weekend saw the first victory of the season for Racing Club Haitian in their 1:0 win over Zénith Athletic Club. The loss, Zenith AC's first of the season, still opens the doors for Cavaly which hopes for the first place. Baltimore SC still continues in search for their first win of the season as they remain at the bottom of the league standings.
Don Bosco, " black eagles"
Don Bosco, without captain Richard Bruny, retook the head of the classification after a 2:0 win over ASC on the 6th day of the series last tuesday (September 26). ASC entered the match with the return of Jacques Mary Saint-Fleur and the arrival of recently injured Eliphène Cadet. The former player of the "beautiful air" could not make anything happen to prevent the disaster of his teammates who were dominated by the black eagles of Don Bosco which now have a better record away from home. The black eagles first goal came from a luminous master shot well taken by Jean Wood Kelly (21'). Aigle Noir, currently in 9th place await the return of forward Fritzson Jean Baptiste, who is currently with the Haitian national team in Jamaica for the CFU Digicel Cup. ASC's loss means that the Mirebalaisiens now find themselves in 11th place.

Re: Haitian Première Division news
Hey Flash, what can you tell me about Johnny Exantus from a Haitian perspective? I think he'll be playing for the Red Bulls next year. Do you think he's the real deal? Will he stick it out to play with the Haitian NT?

Flyin Ryan .. Johnny Exantus has play for the Haitian NT U-17 Team in 2004 in CONCACA F Tournament in Jamaica ... He score 4 goal for NT in that tournament ....
Yes, Johnny Exantus is the real deal but due to the fact that he Play for NYRed Bulls U-20 squad ... He regress against great competition .... MLS rule held in back because if its was for Mo Johnson ... Johnny would have been in Red Bulls team early in the season ...
Yeah, Look for him next year and in the NT next year ..

Re: Haitian Première Division news
Cavaly Continue to Play Well, Baltimore SC Needs More Patience
Even though no players from their club were selected for the country's national team (for the CFU Digicel Caribbean Cup), Cavaly remains 1 of the more dangerous clubs in the league and a team to watch out for.
Fritz Gérald Alliance, Cavaly
Currently at 5th place, The Léoganais had a match with Baltimore SC, who were playing without captain Peter Germain and Alain Vuibert due to the CFU Digicel Caribbean Cup, at Parc Gerard Christophe. Baltimore SC's Pierre-Roland St Jean got his club the lead very early with a goal in the 5th minute of the game.
Cavaly de Léogane, team pic at Parc Gerrard Christophe
Though they were down early, Cavaly were not out as they continued to control the game and create more scoring chances than their opponents. Their patience finally paid off with a game-tying goal in the 80th minute from Fritz Gérald Alliance. The Léoganais threatened to take all 3 points and move closer to Don Bosco at the top of the league but squandered their opportunities in a 1:1 draw.
Frantz Gilles, Cavaly
With the draw, Cavaly remain in 5th place in a tough and very equally challenging league top 5. Meanwhile, Baltimore SC still remain winless this season and are still at the bottom of the league, hopefully their patience will pay off soon.

Re: Haitian Première Division news
Violette AC has now moved into second place in the league's ( Championnat National de Première Division) current standings and are only 1 point behind the black eagles of Don Bosco. By next week they'll be rejoined by Alexandre Boucicaut (was with the Haitian national team during their CFU Digicel Caribbean Cup first round group action in Jamaica). Violette AC are currently among the highest scoring clubs in the league and remains a strong threat to hold the league cup by the end of the season. In its long history, the club is known more famously as the 1984 CONCACAF Champions’ Cup™ winners.

Re: Haitian Première Division news
A full round of league action took place this weekend, as Zenith reclaimed top spot in the league with a 2:1 win over AS Carrefour at Stadium Saint-Victor in Cape Haïtien, and moved ahead of Don Bosco which suffered a 1:0 loss to Aigle Noir. The match of the day was the meeting between Violette Athletic Club and their long time league rivals Racing Club Haïtien in front of a sellout crowd at Stade Sylvio Cator in Port-au-Prince. Even though both teams had their chances of getting on the board neither was able to break the deadlock and Violette AC remains in second place with the draw. Led by a high flying offense, ASC (led by Eliphène Cadet) blew past Dynamite FC 4:2 at Parc Levelt in Saint-Marc and now sits in the league's 3rd spot.
