Dambusters
Not another remake of a classic!! Italian Job and now this? What's next - Zulu with Colin Farrell???
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/5301998.stm
They should have left Dambusters as a classic movie and a classic Carling Black Label ad (the one with the German soldier on the dam saving bombs like footballs - see it is kind of a football related post )

Re: Dambusters
Nothing going to be as sinister/horrific as Edward Woodward being, well you know what, don't want to ruin it for folks.
Plus, Christopher Lee, how do you replace Christopher Lee?
Grrrrr - I try not to watch these butcherings of classics.

Never mind Edward Woodward... at the time I was more effected by Britt Ekland. Unfortunately the alzheimers means I can't quite remember what the effect was but, trust me - it was pretty effecting.
Actually I used to live next door to one of the rear gunners on the dambusters raids. Nice fella...
