Default Reading V. Man City 9/11/06 Pre-Match Chatter [r]

Do our odds increase with the Thatcher suspension? Apparently Jordan played pretty well in his absence(I didn't see the match). Will Cruz be fit in time with a couple reserve matches under his belt? Will Bikey be able to keep his head about him or will he blow his second chance? Can the boys start finishing their attacks? Thoughts?

With Beasley on loan at City, do you think we have a chance of seeing four yanks on the field at the same time (or is Reyna injured again)?

Anyone know if this match will be broadcast in the US?

It'll be shown live on FSC. Noon Pacific time on a Monday means that I still have to watch it on delay (hmmm... unless I just happen to come down with something next weekend). No real complaints since that will make it 4 for 4 games I'll have seen thanks to FSC and the internet.

city looked better without reyna last week and beasely won't play this week unless he comes off the bench but i would love to see 4 yanks on the field. it would be even better if we saw beasely play on the right lined up against convey and show the american doubters how much better convey is than beasely right now.

I have a feeling that Convey will raise his game just because Bease is in the stadium - at least that's what I'm hoping. Something needs to give him that extra spark.

Something about that date distracts my mind a bit...

Sorry about this quip.

I don't see Bikey playing yet, as he's been off on int duty since signing, and I'm not sure what kind of shape Seol will return in.
Upside, Little is back and ready to play. Any word on kitson's health?
I'm hoping after the break, Convey is ready to re-start his season. He played well enough in the first two, I'd like to see him raise his game again.
I do think we're reaching a point where it would be really, really bad to lose again. Obviously, we're not there yet. But don't want to end sept looking up at safety places. A win would be a good idea.

4 points from these next 2 matches would certainly be..nice. I guess a tie would be a realistic expectation from this one. I think Kitson should be ready to play some in this game, although I don't really expect him to start. Little will probably play on the right with Seol and Doyle at the forwards. Hopefully de la Cruz can see some time. It'd be nice to be able to watch Bikey play, but I agree that he probably wouldn't be ready.

Just read that kitson is doubtful, Lita will not be benched. NO clue on the others.

Seol could possibly play upfront if Little is ready to go on the right side. However I don't believe they would start Little straight away coming off an injury, he would probably come on later. Sonko being back may or may not help things. Its still so early to judge this team for me, as I have seen two completely different sides in the two matches I watched (Boro and Wigan) so I am anxiously awaiting to see which side comes out next.
