Very true, but it won't come easily. Stuttgart is another place we just haven't been able to take care of business at in recent memory.

Yeah not only will Vfb have summoned some confidence from their trip to Bielefeld yesterday, but I can't remember the last time we even scored at the Gottlieb-Daimler, much less won. That said, despite the desperately disappointing results of the past fortnight, it still feels as though we're just a goal or two away from getting our attack in order. God knows we've created some more than useful chances on both matchdays thus far. As for the defence...is Wörns back next week?

I agree with all you said there.

And yes, thankfully, Christian Woerns is back next week after a two match too long suspension.......

Amedick injured one of his Achilles' tendons and will be out for 4 weeks. As Metzelder won't make the Stuttgart match, it seems that Brzenska and Wörns will make up our central defence.

We've just got some sick luck going right now, don't we?

Ha, good for you

anyway, this should be a really interesting game. anyone can win. If Dortmund show better finishing than in their first two matches they could well end up winning. We looked a lot better in our last match away to Bielefeld and that gives some optimisim and suggests we could beat you if we play at that level again. This game will determine for both sides whether the start of the season has failed or not. whichever team loses will be faced with a lot of catch up after that : dortmund would have one points from 3 games whereas if we lose we would have 3 points from 3 games and on top of that we're travelling to Bremen the week afterwards. I hope VfB can continue their good form against Dortmund(when did you last score on us?! It's been atleast 2 and a half years now...) and get the three points, though my prediction is a draw.

I can't predict anything yet. Hell, I don't want to anyhow because my predictions have SUCKED this season.

I was impressed that your guys got the three points in Bielefeld being down two men.

Hell, we couldn't score there either last season. But, I also have the feeling that both Frei and Valdez just need one........
