    You'll Never Walk Alone

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm, there's a golden sky, and the sweet silver song of a lark.
    Walk on through the wind,
walk on through the rain, though your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone... You'll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone... You'll never walk alone.

Oh Liverpool Bill Tune : Liverpool Lou

O Liverpool Bill you're our Liverpool Bill.
Your name is a legend of courage and skill,
You gave us the league, all the cups and the thrills,
And that's why we love you our Liverpool Bill.

Anfield will always remember with pride,
The Scot who commanded the Liverpool side,
As sharp as a razor - his wit and his voice,
His love of the game made him Liverpool's choice.

O Liverpool Bill you're our Liverpool Bill.
Your name is a legend of courage and skill,
You gave us the league, all the cups and the thrills,
And that's why we love you our Liverpool Bill.

Bill you will never be walking alone,
The Kop will be with you away or at home,
As long as we breathe we'll remember you still,
Oh thank you for ever our Liverpool Bill.

O Liverpool Bill you're our Liverpool Bill.
Your name is a legend of courage and skill,
You gave us the league, all the cups and the thrills,
And that's why we love you our Liverpool Bill.

    Poor Scouser Tommy

Let me tell you the story of a poor boy, Who was sent far away from his home, To fight for his king and his country, And also the old folks back home

So they put him in a higher division, Sent him off to a far foreign land, Where the flies swarm around in their thousands, And there's nothing to see but the sand.

Now the battle it started next morning, Under the radiant sun, I remember our poor Scouser Tommy, He was shot by an old Nazi gun

As he lay on the battlefield die-die-dying, With the blood gushing out of his head (out of his head) As he lay on the battlefield die-die-dying, These were the last words he said:

Oooooh, I am a Liverpudlian, and I come from the Spion Kop, I like to sing, I like to chant, I go there quite a lot.

Support a team, that plays in red, A team that we all know, A team that we call Liverpool, To glory we will go.

We won the league, we won the cup, We've been to Europe too, We played the Toffees for a laugh, And left them feeling blue (5-0)

    1-2, 1-2-3, 1-2-3-4, 5-0!

Rush scored one, Rush scored two, Rush scored three, And Rush scored four ...

We all live in a red and white Kop (to the tune of Yellow Submarine)

In the town where I was born Lived a man who sailed to sea And he told us of his pride They were a famous football team, So we trailed to Anfield Road Singing songs of victory There we saw the Holy Ground Of our hero, Bill Shankly.

We all live in a red and white Kop, a red and white Kop, a red and white Kop. We all live in a red and white Kop, a red and white Kop, a red and white Kop.

    Fields of Anfield Road

Outside the Shankly Gates I heard a Kopite calling : Shankly they have taken you away But you left a great eleven Before you went to heaven Now it's glory round the Fields of Anfield Road.

Chorus : All round the Fields of Anfield Road Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play) We had Heighway on the wing We had dreams and songs to sing Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Outside the Paisley Gates I heard a Kopite calling Paisley they have taken you away.. You led the great 11 Back in Rome in 77 And the redmen they are still playing the same way

All round the Fields of Anfield Road Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play) We had Heighway on the wing We had dreams and songs to sing Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

    We Love you Liverpool

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

Shankly is our hero, he showed us how to play The mighty reds of Europe are out to win today He made a team of champions, with every man a king And every game we love to win and this is what we sing.

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

Clemence is our goalie, the best there is around And Keegan is the greatest that Shankly ever found Heighway is our favourite, a wizard of the game Anh heres the mighty Toshack to do it once again.

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

We've won the league, we've won the cup, We're masters of the game. And just to prove how good we are We'll do it all again.

We've got another team to beat and so we've got to try 'Cos we're the best in all the land And that's the reason why ..

We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. We Love you Liverpool we do. Oh Liverpool we love you.

    Stevie G

(To the tune of "Let it Be")

When we find ourselves in times of trouble, Stevie G runs past me, Playing the game with wisdom, Stevie G,
And in my home, the Spion Kop, We watch him jog, right in front of me, Spreading balls with wisdom, Stevie G,
Let it be, let it be, let it be,
Stevie G, The local lad turned hero, Stevie G
And when the jubilant Kopite people,All living in The Park agree, That we all know the answer, Stevie G,
And although we may all be fooled, There is still a chance that we will see, The footballing phenomen, Stevie G,
Let it be, let it be, let it be, Stevie G, Spreading balls with wisdom, Stevie G
And when the night is cloudy, There is still a man that we all see, A young, committed Kopite, Stevie G,
Playing to the sound of music, Stevie G runs past me, Playing the game with wisdom, Stevie G,
Let it be, let it be, let it be, Stevie G,
For we all know the answer, his name is Stevie G

'Those were the days' Old Mary Hopkins song.

Those were the days my friends
    We took the Stretford End
    We took the Shed
    The North Bank Highbury

    We took the Geordies too
    We fought for Liverpool
    We are the Kop
    Of Liverpool FC

Liverbird upon my Chest 'Ballad of the Green Berets'

    Here's a song about a football team
The greatest team you've ever seen
A team that play total football
They've won the league, Europe and all

    Chorus:

    A Liverbird upon my chest
We are the men, of Shankly's best
A team that plays the Liverpool way
And wins the Championship in May

With Kenny Dalglish on the ball
He was the greatest of them all
And Ian Rush, four goals or two
    Left Evertonians feeling blue

Now if you go down Goodison Way
Hard luck stories you hear each day
There's not a trophy to be seen
'Cos Liverpool have swept them clean

    Chorus

Now on the glorious 10th of May
There's laughing reds on Wembley Way
We're full of smiles and joy and glee
    It's Everton 1 and Liverpool 3

    Chorus

Now on the 20th of May
We're laughing still on Wembley Way
    Those Evertonians feeling blue
at Liverpool 3 and Everton 2

    Chorus

And as we sang round Goodison Park
With crying blues all in a nark
    They're probably crying still
at Liverpool 5 and Everton 0

    Chorus

    We remember them with pride
Those mighty reds of Shankly's side
    And Kenny's boys of '88
There's never been a side so great

    Chorus

    Now back in 1965
When great Bill Shankly was alive
    We're playing Leeds, the score's 1-1
When it fell to the head of Ian St John

    Chorus

    On April 15th '89
What should have been a joyous time
Ninety-six friends, we all shall miss
And all the Kopites want justice

    JUSTICE!

    Chorus

Na na na na, na, na..............

    Bill Shankly's Pride and Joy

Let me tell you of our football team,
    Liverpool is the name.
We've won the league, we've won the cup,
We're the finest in the game,
We've got the greatest skipper any manager could employ,
Lets drink six crates to big Ron Yeats,
    Bill Shankly's pride and joy.

Billy the King sung to lilly the pink

Oh lets drink, a drink, a drink
To Billy the king, the king, the king,
The creator of the greatest team,
    For he invented professional football,
And this year we'll win the league.

    Now Gerry Byrne,
    Refused a tourniquet,
    When he's broken his collarbone,
And they just rubbed on medicinal compound,
And Gerry goes marching on, on, ON!

Oh lets drink, a drink, a drink
To Billy the king, the king, the king,
The creator of the greatest team,
    For he invented professional football,
And this year we'll win the league.

Didi Hamann (To the tune of Big Spender)

The minute he walked in the joint "Di-Di"
I could see he was Hamann of distinction
    A real Big Player
    Good Passing, So Refined
Say you could always play in any midfield of mine

So let me get right to the point Di-Di
I wouldn't pop my cork for every player I see
Hey Big Didi, [Hey Big DiDi]
    Scoooooore anoooother goal for me.
    Da da da, da da

    He's Liverpool

    He's Czech

    He's Paddy Berger's mate
    Vladimir, Vladimir

    He's red

    He scores against the sh!te
    Nick Barmby, Nick Barmby

    He's fat

    Peter Reid Peter Reid

    He's big

    We like him very much
    Westerveld Westerveld

    He's Big

His feet don't fit in the bed
    Peter Crouch Peter Crouch

Men of Anfield (To the tune of "Men of Harlech" )

    Stevie Heighway's always running
    John Toshack is always scoring
Then you'll hear the Koptites roaring
    Toshack is our king
Men of Anfield here's our story
We have gone from great to glory
We're the greatest team in Europe
    Toshack is our king !

    Paddy Bergers always running
    Michael Owens always scoring
Then you hear the kopites roaring
    Fowler is our king

    Arse of a Crow

If I had the wings of a sparrow
If I had the ass of a crow
I'd fly over Old Trafford tomorrow
And shit on the bas tards below below
I'd shit on the bas tards below.

Robbie Fowler (To the tune of Amore)

When the ball hits the net
Its a fairly safe bet that its Fowler
    Robbie Fowler

    And When Liverpool score
You will hear the Kop roar "Oh, its Fowler
    Robbie Fowler"

    Ian Rush, Roger Hunt
Who's the best man up front? "Oh, its Fowler
    Robbie Fowler"

He's the King of the Kop
He's the best of the lot
    Robbie Fowler

Based on 'You Are My Sunshine', this song is dedicated to Liverpool's Spanish winger.

    Luis Garcia
    He drinks Sangria
    He comes from Barca
    To bring us the Cup

    He's five foot seven
    He's football heaven
So please don't take our Luis away

there are many possible answers to that...could have been a player specific song, could have been fields of anfield road, could have just been liverpool liverpool liverpoooooool

I dont think its player specific... you can hear it clearly at the end of this clip of Pennant's goal against Chelsea.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alvcH94DZDw

Thanks for your help, I'm a relatively new LFC follower but have absolutely fallen in love with the history and tradition of the club. I'm trying to learn as much as I can!

With most of the YouTube links above removed due to "terms of use violation", I wonder if someone can help me with a Liverpool chant. I have never heard another team's fans sing it. It is always sung when the fans are particularly happy, say beating Arsenal 3-0, and it sounds like Istanbul in there somewhere although I could be right off with that guess.

la la la la la laaaaaaaaaa laaaaaa laaa
(iiiis taan bull) la laaaa laa laaa

I'm pretty sure that's not it. It sounds like it has more words than that.

I'll try to get some off the CL Final I have stored on the TiVo and post a link to it on YouTube. Stay tuned.

Then it's not Istanbul. It just sounds like it.

This song's a lot more complex than repeating the same line 3 times over.

Da da da da da da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Da da da da da da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
(REPEAT FOREVER,or untill you need a beer)

It's Johnny Cash ring of fire, first sang on an away coach by Jamie Carraghers Dad,there are a few versions of the same song floating around now though.

    One of my favs is

Bitterness (to the tune of Ken Dodds - Happiness)

    (chorus)
    Oh bitterness, bitterness
The only thing the blues possess,
I thank the lord that I've been blessed,
With none of the blueshite bitterness....

To me this world is a wonderful place,
A red and white glow all over my face,
I feel so good to be alive,
European cups, oh we've got five....
    (chorus)

The bitters were living in a land of dreams,
"you'll lose if you ever face a decent team"
But Juventus, Chelsea and Milan tried,
They all got beat so the blueshite cried....

    (chorus)

At half time AC thought they had us beat,
The blueshite were dancing in the North Wales streets,
But Stevie G played like a man possessed,
So all they've got now is their bitterness....
    (chorus)

They said Milan Baros was offside,
They say Steven Gerrard took a dive,
They say Jerzy Dudek shouldn't have no pride,
But they've got none and we've got FIVE....

    (chorus)

Ok i've just noticed this post,it is the Istanbull song but it's the full version with 'IN ATHENS GREECE WE'LL BRING IT BACK HOME' added.

    here's the full version.

(Sung to the tune of The Beach Boys classic 'Sloop John B')

We won it at Wem-b-ely (sic)
We won it in Gay Paris
In 77 and 84 it was Rome

    We've won it 5 times
    We've won it 5 ti-imes
in Istanbul, we won it 5 times

    When Emlyn lifted it high
He lit up the Roman sky
Thommo in Paris and Souness did it aswell

    We've won it 5 times
    We've won it 5 ti-imes
in Istanbul, we won it 5 times

At Wembley we won it at home
    Took 26,000 to Rome
20,000 to Paris where we won it again (won it again)

    We've won it 5 times
    We've won it 5 ti-imes
In Istanbul, we won it 5 times

    Stevie G's eyes lit up
As he lifted the European Cup
21 years and the cup was coming back home (coming back home)

    We've won it 5 times
    We've won it 5 ti-imes
In Istanbul, we won it 5 times.

    We'll bring it back home
    We'll bring it back hooooome
    In Athens Greece
    We'll bring it back home

To be perfectly honest with you if you heard it at the champions league final then it was either 'Fields of Anfield Road' 'Poor Scouser Thommy' or 'Ring of Fire' (sung not just Da da's) it can only be one of those 3 mate

Well new words we can do.

    here's my feeble attempt.

(Sung to the tune of The Beach Boys classic 'Sloop John B')

We won it at Wem-b-ely (sic)
We won it in Gay Paris
In 77 and 84 it was Rome

    We've won it 6 times
    We've won it 6 ti-imes
in Athens Greece, we won it times

    When Emlyn lifted it high
He lit up the Roman sky
Thommo in Paris and Souness did it aswell

    We've won it 6 times
    We've won it 6 ti-imes
in Athens Greece, we won it times

At Wembley we won it at home
    Took 26,000 to Rome
20,000 to Paris where we won it again (won it again)

    We've won it 6 times
    We've won it 6 ti-imes
In Athens Greece, we won it 6 times

    Carra went Beserk
    When we conquered the Ataturk
21 years and the Reds brought it back home (Brought it back home)

    We've won it 6 times
    We've won it 6 ti-imes
In Athens Greece, we won it 6 times.

Only 2 years passed us by,
Until Stevie made the Manc SCUM !!! Cry
    We beat them with ease
In Athens Greece (oh what a ni-ight)

    We've won it 6 times
    We've won it 6 ti-imes
In Athens Greece,we won it 6 times.

It needs some fine tuning but it's a start.
