Default Reading will finish....

Okay, let's see the predictions. If I knew how to post a poll, I'd do that, but I'm an idiot and can't figure out such things.

So, are Reading condemned to enter the last weeks desparate for points to stay up for a second year? Will it not even matter, as they''' be down by February?
Or will they challenge for Europe? Or at least make a very nice case for a top half finish?

As for me, I say they'll finish 12th, but only because they're not deep enough to maintain the first half run that will see them in or about a euro spot.

But let's hear it, where will Reading end up in their first season?

I definitely think they'll stay up. I also think Doyle will follow in the footsteps of Johnson and Bent as the striker from a promoted club who makes the biggest impact in the EPL.

I'll say 14th, a quick start out of the gate and then a fall back to reality after a tough stretch from mid October to mid November, and then maybe a bit more stable the rest of the season. avoiding relegation and hopefully building next season. I think anywhere from 12th, maybe even 11th, to 17th or 18th is a possiblity. If its higher, that would truly be great, and any place in European competition would be amazing.

I have always said that we would finish about 15th so I will stick with that but I have to admit as every day passes I am fearing more & more for my boys.

We desperately need to get off to a good start and with Boro, Villa & Wigan being the first 3 games we have been dealt a kind hand but starting on 23rd September in a row we have Man Utd, West Ham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Pompey, Liverpool, Spurs........

I also have concerns over the depth of our squad. We were very fortunatelt last year with injuries etc but that can't last forever.

I think they will finish either 12th or 13th.
