SEASON OPENING : Bayern vs BVB [R]
I am first ...
Welcome to a new season for the Bundesliga in general and the BVB in particular. If the Pre-Season is evidence of how good the team truly is, we have a bright future ... out of 10 Friendlies we won 7 and had 3 draws .. but now the dices will be rolled again. Pre Season was yesterday ... Bayern is tomorrow (metaphorically spoken)
Our opponent Bayern had just lost the League cup final ... what do you think? Will we at least get a point in Munich?

Re: SEASON OPENING : Bayern vs BVB [R]
Our pre-season was very disapointing.
We only beat a bunch of small local clubs.
I think BVB has a good chance against us this season.

By the way ... we had a draw against Tottenham and were the first team to steal a point from them in Pre Season (if you would say a victory would be 3 and a draw 1 point)
They even beat Inter Mailand 2:1

Hey man! What you are seeing from Bayern is exactly what we discussed over at the Bayern boards.
They didn't buy the right people this off-season and wasted too much time and money screwing around with van Buyten and RvN when they should have been trying to buy a successor for Ballack. Did you see how Klose and Klasnic ABUSED van Buyten in the League Cup final??
Valdez and Frei aren't as fluid with one another as Klose and Klasnic are, but they will give Lucio and van Buyten plenty of anxious moments on Friday night........

And in the end, it means absolutely nothing.
One thing I did learn from being at the Tottenham match is that we are still going to have problems with speedy teams.
Our defense is still just too damned slow. I think Brzenska, who will almost certainly play for Woerns the first two matches, runs like a f#cking 150 year old turtle.
The good thing about that is, I think the only top teams in the BL who I feel can be classified as "speedy" are Werder Bremen and HSV.
