I like the badge and the name of the team. "Sheffield Wednesday". I get a kick out of the history and the legend of a lot of Euro footy teams. They happen to be one of them. It is just kinda neat. Imagine if the team I play on went about naming ourselves in such a manner..."Smyrna Every Other Sunday".
Danners, as pookspur will verify, there is very little ryhme or reason behind me and my allegiances...even though try as I might to find some. I just like things. I like Cardiff because my moms side of the family is Welsh.

I like Munich 1860 because they are called Munich 1860! he he...

Fair enough! It was just suitably random enough for me to wonder 'why'.

I have an AIK Stockholm shirt and a River Plate away shirt. I bought the AIK one in their official shop though, in Stockholm. But i bought the River one online here because I liked it.

There is more...Preston North End, I love that logo...a buddy of mine has painted it on his guest bedroom floor. Looks incredible.

I think my wide taste stems from growing a fan of the S.F. Giants, and Vanderbilt Commadores football. My other fave, the Oakland Raiders won a lot, but the Giants and the Commadores never did win much. So I had to get used to liking teams that kept playing in the post season when my fave teams were sitting at home...
