Re: ghana and the czech.
est-ce ke qqn pourrait m'expliquer ce ke ce sujet fait dans cette section??
I don't see why everyone underestimates the ghana squad, sure they can't finish, but their presence on the field is absolutely frightening as shown by a player light essien. But I think Argentina, Italy, and the Dutch have shown that with good passing and midfield movement, the physical advantage an african squad like ghana has can be nullified to some extent. Of course not everyone can play like those three but the czech game is classy nonetheless

It's true this question could have been asked in the 'other matches thread' without creating a specific one.

Hmm, yes and no. I think the idea that African teams mainly rely on their physical abilities is a lil bit outdated as shown in several games in this competition. Yet, a little bit like their rival CIV, Ghana must learn to be very efficient in front of goal even if they're on par everywhere else otherwise they might exit the tournament too early as well. It has to be said that both neighbours weren't spared by the initial drawing.

Re: ghana and the czech.
2-0 Ghana FT
ghana just proved to the world that speed can outclass skill
(score really should've been in the upper 4-0 if they didn't finish so poorly though on several occasions)

i didn't mean that african teams rely on their physical strength - rather, what I tried to convey is that it gives them particular advantage that most european sides can't emulate.

Re: ghana and the czech.
ghana was awesome. but then, i thought they were awesome against italy too!
but they're the team that does the most to beat themselves too. like going 3 against the keeper and one of them finds a way to get offsides...
but ghana ROX! if france can't win i hope ghana does. honestly, if they show some discipline and concentration even brazil and argentina should do some SERIOUS trembling!
